The other day I heard on the radio this amazing story about how the gas prices have ‘dropped’ by a ‘few cents’ and that was some big deal. Well, the news reporter, doing his job, says, according to his research the biggest reason for the current drop in gas prices is, and get this, LACK OF DEMAND. Yes, that is what he said, “Lack Of Demand”.
Hmmm, consider that seriously. Why a sudden lack of demand? Are the prices too high? Are more people car pooling? Losing their jobs? Working at home? This researcher did not answer my questions. But the fact of “Lack of Demand” wore heavily on my mind. Imagine, what we could do to lower prices of gas just by NOT DRIVING!
Of course, we all can’t just ‘stop driving’. Most of us have to drive to work, go shopping then, home. And this is on a daily level. But it gave me pause to think and spurred my drive to start and maintain an online business. Of course, Lowering Gas Prices was not my only motivation.
By having a business online you can:
Work from anywhere;
Work any time;
Take breaks whenever;
Vacations accumulated by the amount of money you make;
Go shopping only when you need, perhaps once per week;
Buying things you ‘want’ and not just ‘need’;
No more stress about being ‘on time’;
No more stress about taking time off because you need it;
Just No More Stress! Period.
You see, I am still a ‘working’ woman. I still get up at 3am and go to work and come home and work on my online business. I have not yet met my millions. (I would be happy with my thousands) Hey, at this point even hundreds would be great.
Persistence and diligence will find its’ reward.
So, I started with Affiliate programs. That is when you are promoting someone else’s business for a commission. The hard part is finding the right affiliate to promote.
You want to know that product is good.
You want to get your commission in a timely manner.
You want to get future commissions from your sales.
This is important.
That is the trick, getting paid again from that first sale. Clickbank offers a variety of products from companies that pay you a commission to market and sell their product. Each product listed gives you the amount of commission per sale, but the most important is, what the “Future” sales are; this is the amount of money you will make each month from one sale.
You also want to find a product that the company will teach you how to market their product. You want them to provide you with the banners and ad copy that works for them. You also want this company to provide some ideas of ‘where’ to advertise and the best ways to advertise their product.
This is important information especially when the company is looking for people to advertise for them, most likely the people that are looking for ways to make money on line will be new to on line marketing.
You can start with one product and keep looking for others. You can also tell how successful that company is with the product bar.
My start was with my first affiliate product. It paid the highest per sale and had continuing commission per month.
Aside from starting to earn commissions from on line marketing is the opportunity to pass on much needed information about on line marketing. And that, I hope will lead me to my contribution of lowering the gas prices by NOT DRIVING! What a concept!
So, if you are ready to contribute to lowering the gas prices and starting an online business, I recommend starting with perusing the ClickBank site, sign up and start finding the companies that will pay the highest and pay continued monthly commissions.
It will give you the freedom to choose and display your products, not be bounded by only one product and allow you to set up as many as you need for as many products as you need.
To reiterate, starting an online business, staying persistent and giving your all you, too, can soon be contributing to lowering the gas prices. What a concept!
