You can use the search engines to get high page rankings which in turn will bring you more traffic and a higher chance of getting leads and building your business. This is one of the most effective ways to build your business but does take a lot of time and consistency. It is a method that many marketers take but only a minority actually succeed in. If you want to succeed using the search engines which is done by blogging and writing articles, you need to be consistent.

Another effective way of how to advertise your online business is by using social media marketing. This is where you can take advantage of popular sites like Facebook and Twitter and use them to get leads and build your business. The way to use these is to share your content and help other people succeed. For example whenever you post content to your blog, you can also get it posted on Facebook and tweeter on Twitter so others can also get notified. This is a great way of how to advertise your online business because you can target the right people and appeal to the right people. Whatever happens though, you do NOT spam and constantly post your affiliate or business links because that will not help you in any way.

Using forums is also a good way of how to advertise your online business. You will not be advertising it directly in terms of creating threads and posts about it because then everybody would do that and that is spamming. Most forums allow you to have a signature and this is where you can advertise your business. The way to get people to click on your personal signature link is by being an active forum member. This involves participating in discussions, answering questions, creating valuable topics etc. The more active you are, the higher the chances of people checking out your business.
