In today's world of competition for fashion accessories mainly scarves, 90% of the companies believe that replacing the good quality with medium to lower quality is the best solution for being successful in the marketing and survive.
But on the contrary we have seen many of our clients key success remains in the fact of sustaining and offering quality products even amidst economic crisis. As per our analysis lowering the quality to remain competitive is a short term win in which mostly the end result is that after a while the company who indulges in such things ends up on a losing side.
As per human psychology when a person is short of funds, he/she does not get involved in buying necessary items of cheap quality. Rather he/she encourages restricting himself/ herself from buying more than required quantity. But the quality concerns remain the same.
So, for the customer, they would prefer to buy one or two high quality pure original Pashmina scarf, rather than engaging in buying ten cheap low quality artificial yarn based scarves and shawls. So customer perspective again is inclined towards quality rather the quantity. That way even in the crisis situation the winner is those brands and companies who do not compromise on the quality. But the companies who try to choose the quality degradation model, are looked upon as dual character based brands/companies by the customers and get defamed thereby business are getting affected.
This conclusive survey analysis has been drafted after in depth study of all our clients who are there in the market and enjoy long term success. We have one such case in which one of the leading European Fashion Accessory brand was our client since 1995. Due to economic slowdown post 2009, their management insisted us to come up with ways to produce low price item. They suggested us to even degrade the quality if required, but come up with low price items. Our Management after an in-depth discussion and thought process, decided to go against this , and we requested our client to try to work out other on other means to curb the price issue but do not degrade the quality. Since the internal pressure of the company grew to the extent that they withdraw from us, and shifted to another company who was dealing with artificial yarn based scarves and shawls. Now today after a period of around 2 years inspite of such efforts the company has closed most of its brand stores in many European cities. The condition has become so worst, that customers have started going through social network campaign and aware others that this brand's quality is unacceptable and should not be purchased.
So, what we advise to all our new clients who collaborate with us, is to never come up with any plans of degrading the quality, because what can win you a competition is to offer quality scarves and continue doing so, whatever the circumstances would be. That way, they will always gain the customers trust, and people will always held their scarves with great trust and authenticity and would always prefer to buy from them
