When you choose dresses for women, your silhouette or the body type should take precedence over all your considerations. Be sure that your choice of dress is complementary to your body. At the same time the dress should also conceal those parts you want. Girls with broad shoulders simply aren't suited to an off the shoulder setup. So you first need to decide the type of body you have.

1. A Type: The A type body is triangular where all the weight is concentrated at the hips. If you have an A type of body, you need to divert the attention away from your hips. You should avoid wearing dresses that have horizontal patterns or belts across hips. You can divert the attention to the shoulder or the chest area and neck. Wearing fur collars will be advantageous. Jewelery can also be utilized to draw the eye to an area besides the hips.

2. H Type: The H type body is straight from shoulders to hips, without any defined curves. The weight is concentrated in the middle of the body. You should avoid wearing form fitting clothes that draw attention to the stomach. Hiding the middle of your body from attention. There are two types of frames with the H body type- double and single. The double framed H type body looks quite hefty. If you have an H type body, avoid wearing tight fitting clothes that highlight your curvelessness. Vertical is the word for this body type, to distract from the stockiness of this body type. You should also avoid wearing boxed designs as they would accentuate your broadness further.

3. T Type: The bustline and shoulders of the T body type are characteristic. The weight is concentrated on the upper part of your body. You should avoid dresses that have heavy bodices. This would only serve to accentuate your bustline- select something that draws attention to your waist instead. Wearing an accessory around your waist is a good idea to draw attention from the bust. Likewise, accentuating the hips will have the same effect. A halter neck will give support to the bust as also highlight the slender neck.

4. X Type: The X type body is curvy. Shoulders and hips are broad but balanced while waist is slender. Most women are very envious of this type of body. If you have an X type body, you have nothing to hide!!! You can choose to flaunt any part of your body. For example, if you wear a belt you'll accentuate your waist. A satin sash could do the trick for you.

Choosing the right dress was never an easy task for a girl. There are all kinds of styles you can go with these days. Buying on the sole reason that you like the dress is not a good idea however. Whether it's a hardship to spend the money or not, you'll wind up with a closet full of outfits you can't wear much if at all. Keep the considerations in this article in mind when choosing and you'll be much happier with your choices. Taking into account all these considerations will help guide you to the best dress for you. Knowing what you're after will help you get a great price as well.

A dress that looks good on a lady and also makes her feel comfortable is the best dress for women.
