Move out of the city for just a few hours and you will be able to explore some of the greatest surroundings you will ever see. One of the top ways to do that is to go on a train outing to Myrdal to enjoy the sights from the Hardangervidda mountain plateau.
Switch to the renowned Flams-Banen railway line and as the train winds its way down steep mountain tracks you'll be treated to close up sights of thundering waterfalls, lakes, rocky hills and traditional agricultural villages.
