You can use food coloring in this frosting to customize its colors, just use a knife on applying it to the cookie. Butter cream frosting has a fluffy appearance and texture. If you pour some icing on the cookie, it creates a hard and shiny surface in on your cookie. Mixing 2 tsp of milk and 1 cup of your confectioner's sugar can make this kind of icing. And with a few drops of food coloring a 2 tsp of corn syrup. The icing that you'd make will be much more thinner than any other traditional frosting and you can pour it on a cookie and let it dry until its set.
