Many people may not do this, but what do you really have to lose? You may have to take some criticism here and there, but isn't that worth it because then you could improve on your blog and get even more hits over time.

All you have to do is type in 'blog directories' into Google and you'll see for yourself. Submitting your blog to a few of these can definitely help you in getting more hits and traffic. Make sure you actually submit it under the right category though in terms of your blog content. You do not want to get more blog hits by targeting the wrong people by putting your blog in the wrong section. So if your blog is about Internet marketing and working from home, put it under the Internet marketing or working from home category.
Their are also other ways in which you could get more blog hits such as adding a signature link to your e-mails. If you have a list and have built a good relationship with the people in that list, chances are that they will click on your signature link and check out what you have to offer. The way to increase your blog hits and traffic with this though is only if a lot of people read your e-mails. The less people that read your mails, the lower the chances of you getting hits. Overall though this is a good way to get more exposure and hits.
