If you want to succeed in network marketing and be able to build residual income, you will have to get yourself out there and let people know who you are. I don't mean literally go out and tell strangers lol I mean in a way where you connect with your leads or your prospects as some marketers call them.

You do not want to waste time with people who are lazy and expect others to do the work and build residual income for them, that is why it is important you work out who to have on your team and who to drop like a bad habit. You will not get anywhere in network marketing if you are not getting leads, and if you are not contacting and then prospecting with your leads.
You can either contact them via e-mail or phone but be sure to do it within 24 hours because the lead will still remember what they signed up for. This is where you will begin to build a relationship with them and help them succeed. Even though there is a lot to do in prospecting, this is the most effective and successful way to build residual income. You should be helping them more than telling them to join your business. You should be giving them solutions to their problems. You should listen to them and ask them questions on what they want to know. All of these things will give you a chance to build a solid rapport which in return will create trust.
It really does not matter what you hear or what your upline/sponsor tells you. If you are not getting leads and then connecting with those leads, you will not get any results and your business will not grow.
