The Bangkok city’s covered area is approximately 606 square miles. And according to these statistics Bangkok is the sixty eighth largest province of the country. Bangkok is also considered as one of the largest cities of world. This is because of the reason that the total covered area of Bangkok is mostly covered by Bangkok city.
The climatic conditions in Bangkok are very hot summers and not very cold winters. The city’s highest ever experienced temperature is recorded as 40 degrees. The lowest ever temperature is recorded as 9 degrees. The temperature is not very cold during winter as the city mostly receives sunshine’s on a daily basis.
Economically Bangkok is very strong and is considered as the backbone of Thailand’s economy. The city itself in the world is regarded as a very strong economy. Most of the financial institutions of Thailand have their headquarters and financial assets in Bangkok which are equal to billions of dollars.
In Bangkok city there are number of temples, and mosques. As majority of population of Bangkok is Buddhist so there are around 400 Buddha temples in all of Bangkok. Also there are 2 temples of Hindus and 1 religious gurudwara for Sikhs. For public entertainment there are a number of beautiful places and parks in Bangkok. Also the city is rich in greenery and natural beauty and the people of Bangkok have utilized this natural greenery in the construction of the parks. The most famous park in Bangkok is the “Lumphini Park”. It is commonly known as Bangkok’s central park.
