For quite a while now I have been sharing content with you that has been strictly business and marketing related. However today's article is not one of your 'how to' articles or an article that will be strictly business related, but the content that I share with you will still be helpful when it comes to business as it will help you in understanding people and what their nature is. This is much more than just a personality trait list, it is the difference between successfully connecting with people or failing to understand how people are and how they act.
The importance of understanding the elements of a personality trait list
Network marketing and even business in general is all about understanding people and connecting with them on both a personal and professional level. However when it comes to network marketing, the concept of the business is in the name itself. Network marketing meaning it is a people business and therefore by connecting with people and working out what type of element they are on the personality trait list, you will be doing yourself more good than harm. No matter what you have read or heard, at the end of the day when it comes to network marketing people join people and that is why you should be focused on building up your image and not the business you may be involved with.
The elements of the personality trait list
I have been talking about these so called elements for a short while so what on earth are they you may be thinking? The four elements that can be on either yours or somebody else's personality trait list are fire, water, earth and air. All of these have different connotations and different people will have different ones. You may even find some people who have a mixture which is great because it will give you the chance to connect with them on a better level and vice versa.
The first element is fire. This is an element that some great names in the industry have. Guys like Ray Higdon, David Wood, Todd Falcone, Jonathon Budd, Mia Davies and Katie Frieling just to name a few. Do you know what all these great people are? They are leaders. People who are the element of fire are powerful and influential people. They have the true and raw desire to create change and are designed to be leaders. Are YOU a leader? Do you have the fire?
The second element on the personality trait list is water. These are the group of people that are steady and calm. They appreciate every moment of life and just let it play out naturally. The people that are a part of this group can also be patient and have less stress or troubles in life. Just like fire and water don't mix, the people who have this element do not get along with fire.
The element of earth is the third feature that makes up the personality trait list. This group of people are very different to those who have the personality trait of fire or water. The people in this group are very deep and purposeful. They are people who are serious and will take things that you say to them to heart. These people are also the ones that are deep thinkers and philosophers.
The final element of the personality trait list is air. There are a lot of people in this group because these people are the ones who are fun and exciting. They are willing and are eager to try out new things. The majority of people like this group because of how they are. However one problem with being a part of this group is that they will always change for new things and when it comes to business, always chopping and changing is not the best thing to do.
So how does all this relate to business you may be thinking? It will be much easier to build rapport and connect with people if you know what type of element they are. The quicker you can identify this, the easier it will be for you and the better your relationship will be. However the best thing you could do is be in the centre and possess qualities of all 4 elements. This way you will have no weaknesses and it doesn't matter what element somebody may be on the personality trait list because you will be covered from every angle. :-)
