In today's article I will share some ways with you in which how to overcome rejection when it comes to a range of different things related to business. Yesterday I shared the first part of how to cope with rejection from family and friends, so if you haven't checked that out yet go and read it because it gets into quite a bit of detail of what to do when family and friends are involved. Today however I will be talking about a whole different set of ideas including the idea of rejection itself, working on your personal development and a couple reasons why your business is not growing. So if you want to know how to overcome rejection then sit back, put your feet up and spend just 5 minutes reading this article.

How to overcome rejection in the cold market

The cold market is the one where many of us actually begin to see results with as some of the people here are the right people I'm search of the right opportunity. However, that will not be the case for everybody and so you will get a lot of 'no's' by other people. Knowing how to overcome rejection within the cold market is one thing that will allow you to shake off the 'no', and simply move on to the next person. The next person who gave their phone number and so are waiting for you to call them. Guys, one of the reasons they actually gave their number is because they want you to call them so why not take advantage?

Many marketers are afraid of using the phone and have no idea how to overcome rejection when the other person simply tells them they are not interested or that it sounds like a scam. Many people do not use the phone to call leads because they have a fear of being rejected which could seriously affect their thinking, confidence and self belief. The way to overcome this is by knowing what to say, when to say and how to say it. It is not easy but you need to understand people's needs and more importantly you need to understand your target market. What are their needs? Problems? Desires? If you can hit these with solutions then it will be a lot easier and things will go smoother.

If you don't know how to overcome rejection you will end up quitting

It is a fact that rejection and not knowing how to overcome rejection is one of the reasons why thousands of marketers fail and then quit. Your own personal growth also plays a role because one other reason why you could be getting rejected is because of your attitude and work ethic. If this is the case, this problem can be overcome by working on yourself first and ways to do this are by reading books, watching videos, listening to interviews and by attending seminars. The more you personally learn and grow, the more your business will begin to grow.

Another thing that will help you if you want to know how to overcome rejection and keep it away, is by connecting and talking to more people. It may sound a little strange but it is true and here is why. Most guys say that network marketing is a numbers game so the more people you talk to, the easier it will be to start seeing some results. For example if your prospecting numbers are not high enough, chances are that nearly every person will either reject your opportunity, or tell you they want to learn more but then not bother showing up at the weekly/monthly presentation or meeting. So let's say you are talking to only 5 people a week (which is very, very low) and all of them say no, it will make you start to think and wonder if you are in the right business. However if you are talking to say 70 people a week and only 5 join, the ones that said 'no' will not really bother you as your main focus will be on the ones that said yes, and it is these 5 people that will get your attention for as long as you want to give it.

Rejection then can be seen in many different forms by different people, but the solutions to overcoming the problems that rejection brings are all the same no matter how much you know or how inexperienced you are. At the end of the day it all comes down to training. If you have the right training and know how to overcome rejection you are much more likely to stay in the industry for longer, and this will actually increase your chances of getting results and being a winner.
