The internet is an unbelievable place to make money, which is why mastering the art of internet marketing is so important. That being said, many different marketers swear by many different methods - making it challenging to find the "best" one.
This is what I usually say when asked what the best marketing strategy is.This answer is going to be good for some, bad for others. All I can say is that I believe it to be 100% true and essential for you to understand.
What Is The Number 1 Internet Marketing Strategy?
I'll make this as direct as possible.
It's the one you are consistent with and that brings you consistent results.
I told you. Some of you weren't going to like my answer.
Trying to find the greatest internet marketing strategy is like trying to keep up with technology. There's always something newer and faster just around the corner.
I'm not denying that there are some great strategies out there, but if you never commit to one and do it consistently, none of them will ever work.
Constantly jumping from one strategy to another is quite a bit like constantly trying new weight loss methods. Don't eat one thing for a week, then focus on getting a good deal of something else the week after that, and on and on it goes.
Your body would be thoroughly confused and you wouldn't really be making any long term changes. You may lose a pound or two here or there, but you wouldn't be able to keep bouncing around like this from diet to diet.
Wouldn't it make more sense to implement some real long term changes in your life? These would be things you could do consistently and build some real results with.
Internet marketing is no different. It really doesn't make sense to hop from something like pay per click to article marketing, then on to cold calling purchased leads, then switching over to article marketing again, only to then turn around and decide you'd rather focus on posting videos. Jumping around like that doesn't give any of those methods an opportunity to really work. Marketing has to grow, so don't short change yourself.
Starting a new method might generate some results in the beginning, and if so, GREAT! Stick with it and be consistent. Don't throw up your hands if thing don't skyrocket right away. This is why there is no magic strategy out there that works for everyone.
Just as we all have differing dietary needs, we also all have different comfort levels in marketing.
Here's the bottom line: find a strategy that works for you and get good at it. The more consistent your efforts are, the more consistent the results will be.
Depending on the internet marketing strategy you choose, it may take some time, but don't give up. Ironically, so many people give up right before they could have been successful. Don't let that be you!
