I live in Clapham, SW4 and was wondering what the best route to drive is, taking rush hour in to account. What's the best driving route from Clapham to Reading in rush hour? I need to get to Reading each morning at around 8'o'clock.
Two choices get yourself up to the A4/M4 at that time of the morning you are going against the flow of inbound traffic which should make it easier. If the M3 is easier then stay on it until Junction 3 Lightwater then go right to Bracknell, this cuts out the Heathrow section of the M25 which can get very busy in the morning but Bracknell can also suffer at times.

I had a nasty driving inspector. A real a-hole. Went to take the test and the serial # of the registration was 1 digit off from the insurance card he wasn't going to let me take the test! Then he failed me! No moving violations in over 30 years go figure.
