I was surprised how many real opportunities I found to work from home in Barrie, Ontario. I was looking for something online that I could do that would be fairly straightforward. I wanted a job that I wouldn't have to basically have a store full of goods in my basement, and I most definately didn't want to go door-to-door.
Doing things like selling products online on ebay, kijiji, or a website wasn't for me. I have done ebay, and if you're not careful, you'll lose money! They have a lot of fees. Also, I would lose money on shipping all the time. Canada post would say one rate, and then it would be different down at the post office. Although it's possible to work from home in Barrie doing this, it was more labour intensive than I wanted. And, it left me with a pile of stuff to store somewhere.
I looked into outbound call centre work - The only legit one I found had training fees. Then I discovered I had to downgrade my version of Microsoft for their programs to work. Then, I had to fight all the other work from home call centre operators for shifts! Plus, the shifts that might make you money almost all happen at night. When I found that I would be getting paid such a low rate (sometimes .50 cents a call, and some nights you might only field a few calls.. but you have to stay available your entire shift.) I figured it would take a LONG time to pay off everything I put into it. Legitimate, yes. But, not financially viable for me.
What I found after all of my research, that was a good fit for me, was a turn key system, where I got a personalized website and amazing training that I didn't have to pay for. The videos on the website have done all the sales for me! Plus, I get my own product for free. I get a pay cheque every week for my work from home in Barrie business, and all I've done is shared it on Facebook. There are so many more benefits, but the bottom line is, this job provided all that I needed to really work from home.
There is work from home jobs in Barrie! If you are looking for a part time job, a job to work around your family, or a job to work around your other jobs for extra cash, this one has been fantastic.
