Before purchasing Shakeology, the question everyone wants to know is, does Shakeology taste good? Which is a fantastic question. I mean, who wants to force down an unpleasant tasting shake? I certainly don't.

Before I answer the question, does Shakeology taste good?, let me answer the question, what is Shakeology? Shakeology is more than merely a meal replacement shake. Generally a meal replacement shake is consumed simply because the user wants to get rid of weight. So those drinks are low in calories, and provide some dietary value, but commonly not much. Shakeology is unlike any other shake on the market. Though it may be used as a meal replacement shake for those attempting to lose weight, it is also used a dietary supplement to provide the daily nutrition your body needs. For example, due to the fact I'm not trying to lose weight, I don't replace a meal with Shakeology, as an alternative I drink it as a midday snack. It keeps me feeling full for hours and provides me the energy I need to get through my workout, and through the day.

Shakeology comes in 3 flavors, Chocolate, Greenberry, and the newest flavor and formulation, Tropical. Currently my preferred flavor is Tropical. Chocolate is also quite good, but after drinking it every day for 2 years, I was glad when Tropical was released and now I've switched to drinking that each day. Greenberry is my least preferred Shakeology flavor. I've drank it before in the past when I ran out of Chocolate, but I am not a big fan of it. If I had to rate each flavor using a 1 out 10 rating, this is how I would rate them.

So Does Shakeology Taste Good? - Here's How I Rate Each Flavor

Tropical - 9 out of 10
Chocolate - 8.5 out of 10
Greenberry - 4 out of 10
Bear in mind which 9 is a very high rating in my mind. I can't even picture anything I would give a 10 to. Possibly some sort of cheesecake or an real chocolate shake made with real ice cream or something like that, but even then those may possibly not be worthy of a 10.
The best thing about Shakeology is that it is easy to experiment with different ingredients and conjure up a formula, or recipes, that you find delicious. One of my favorites is chocolate Shakeology mixed 50 percent using skim milk, 50 percent using water, and little scoop of peanut butter. That recipe tastes like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup in a glass, it's excellent!

When mixing your Shakeology, I suggest doing it with a blender, Magic Bullet, or any of the various devices that are similar. You don't want to try and stir it and mix it by hand, it will not turn out good. Especially if you are adding many fruits or various ingredients, you will definitely need a blender of some kind.

So does Shakeology taste good? I think so, but why don't you be the judge. Beachbody is so sure that you'll really like Shakeology that they offer a 30 day "empty bag" cash back guarantee. So if you don't like the taste, or are not pleased with the purchase for any reason, simply send the empty bag back and receive a full refund of your purchase price. No questions asked, no silly games to play or hoops to jump through.
