Have you ever seen a singer who strain so hard but still missed the note both on the upside and downside, wavering back and forth. There are a lot of singers who cannot reach some notes. A singer has to learn to sing high notes without straining so that that you will be successful on your performance on stage.

It is not true that women strain less while hitting notes compared to men. It’s just that some women try to out sing their own vocal chords and sing too high. There are singers who can carry out a note that is too high just like Mariah Carey. If you have observed she can carry a note that is very high and thanks to her vocal chords.

According to myth that most singers cannot hit high notes, and there vocal teachers who will tell you this but do not believe them because this is not true. A singer can increase his or her voice range over an octave, provided with the right tools and training you can learn to sing high notes. In this article i am going to give you helpful tips on how to learn to sing high notes easily.

For you to learn to sing high notes, you should practice speech level singing exercises. These exercises are design to develop your mixed voice and believe me it is like magic. You can learn to sing fast.

Your mixed voice is a vocal register that you can definitely sing without straining. How is this happening? I’ll tell you the reason why. The main reason is that you are zipping up your vocal chords and at the same time splitting the resonance between your mouth and head. Now, when you sing your mixed voice, your voice sounds like your lower notes, except that it is richer. The nice thing about this is that, it is so easy to hit the high notes with mixed voice.

For you to be able to sing high notes, it is important for you to learn to sing through the break and connect with your voice on the other side. In singing high notes, you move up into your bridge correctly and you also loose sensation in your throat, though not all of your sensation but most of it. What you should do, it that you must allow your voice to let go as you sing high notes. And when you are already doing this right, you can feel like your voice has lifted into your head.
Another tip is try singing using the word “Gug” And use a scale that will take you up surpassing your breaking point. Try singing using the words, Goo, No and Now and observe which of the words allow your voice to let go and move into your upper vocal register.

Practice the tips i gave you and i’m sure you will increase your voice range and you will be able to sing high notes without fear of straining.
