As my aged golf bag has reached the end of its life cycle, I decided to purchase a new one and selected after much thought the Callaway Warbird x golf bag.
I required a new golf bag as my old one was on its last legs. My first trip to the Pro shop only confused me more when I saw the assortment of choices. I elected to go for Callaway bag as they had a nice appearance to them and they appeared to be of a high standard.
The Callaway golf bags come in a variety of designs. These designs are all very stylish and all of them come with a well-designed and stable stand. The range includes Alpha, Aqua, country club,RAZR and x bag.
All of these golf bag ranges are lightweight with the average weight being around 2 kg. They all come with a set of basic features including a glove holder, pen holder, towel ring and the classic umbrella loop.
The shoulder strap is double padded as is the padded hip pad. That means you can take the bag with you and be comfortable when walking around the course. A lot of my golfing buddies use the Callaway Warbird x golf bag and that was what first led me to the idea of buying one.
The Warbird range from Callaway are available in many colours which include black, navy, and white. They all come with the Callaway logo inscribed on the bag itself. My candid opinion is that they look great when you are out on the course.
Sad as this may sound I like my attire to match my golf bag or vice versa. The simplest way to ensure this happens is to choose a fairly neutral coloured bag such as the black or the white.
In my golfing career I have tried many bags and my single complaint with all of them is that they had poor stand mechanisms. I find that very frustrating especially on a gusty day or when on a course with a lot of hills. The stand on the Callaway bag is very stable and very simple to use.
A fantastic constituent of the Callaway bag is the dividers located inside the bag. Depending on which model you eventually select you will find that having a separate divider for each club makes your round of golf and club selection a very simple thing to do. No more searching or rumbling around your bag trying to find a club.
If you like plenty of pockets in your golf bag then the Callaway Warbird is definitely the bag for you. It comes with a complete set of zipped pockets ideal for holding your wet gear and it also has an insulated pocket and a secure pocket for all your valuables. I like the compartment that holds your golf balls as it is quite large, making it easy to find balls and tees.
