Google's augmented reality eyeglasses were gossip a few months ago, but now they have been revealed as "Project Glass". While the glasses are really nerdy looking, the overall idea and experience seems effective and fun.
Google Glasses give the impression like a smartphone with a message system that you can answer back to with your voice. They will warn you of traffic and subway delays as well as detour you some other way by map. You can set calendar events and even answer calls and text messages by talking. These Google Glasses aren't set to hit the open just yet, but we are enthusiastic for some sort of broadcast by the conclusion of 2012.
