Article Spinning vs Article Submitting? Should you spin your content? Should you automate your article submitting?
Â
If so, how much time and effort should you put into your article spinning efforts?
Â
If you're anything like me, than these are potentially very important questions if you are an article marketer. To drive traffic to your blog or website through distribution of your articles to various article directories, is by no means, a new technique in the world of Internet network marketing,
Â
But with so much information out there about if you should spin or not spin your articles, it's hard to determine what the right course of action is. Some people say that you have to do article spinning, others say it is a waste of time and even other people don't make any sense when they are providing advice about article spinning.
Â
Obviously, the exact answer will be different for every individual, but there are some general themes that I've picked up from my research that I'd like to share with you.
Â
Article Spinning - First thing's first.
Â
The question about article spinning has a lot to do with your goal. What is your goal? To get a bunch of back links to your site? To get the word out about a new product, opportunity or service? Either way, content spinning when done correctly (notice the correctly in bold) will be somewhat beneficial for you. Now, I know a lot of you spend a ton of time on spinning your articles to make them unique and readable. that being said, there is no duplicate content penalty for article marketers. Let me repeat that. there is no duplicate content penalty for article marketers.
Â
There is one huge caveat for this and that that you content has to be original. Period. If you are interested in scraping some else's content and putting it on your site or republishing some else's content using a spinning tool, than you are lame! On the other hand, if you spend 20 minutes a day creating a high quality unique article that is your own and then publishing it to different article directories (either manually or automagically) than you'll be OK. Google has/is/will be going after lame people who think that they can take other people's content and republish as their own. This is not only lame, it's stealing!
Â
Article Spinning - The difference between article submitting and article spinning?
Â
These are two very different things and people new to article marketing often times get them confused. The way that I like to explain it is that article marketing is a simple three step process as follows:
Â
1) Create Unique, High Qualify Content that Offers Value or Solves a Problem for you potential customers
Â
2) Spin the article (If you want to) into unique varations of this article (manually or automagically with a spinning tool.
Â
3) Submit the article to different Article directories (manually or automagically with a submitting tool)
Â
Now, given what I've stated above regarding article spinning, ultimately you're going to have to decide if you want to spend the time (or the money) to spin 50 or 100 copies of your article so that's it unique and readable. Not even the best automatic spinners in the world can replicate the readability of an article actually written by a person.
Â
But, you should definitely invest in an article submission tool that will automate the article submission process. Now the $50-100 bucks that you would spend on this tool, will be paid back in about two day's time. For example - Let's say you create two articles, then want to submit them to 15 directories each. That's 30 submissions in total.
Â
Now, you could spend the time to do (30 submissions X 3 minutes/submission = 90 Minutes) or you could use an automatic submission tool and post your articles into the tool for the tool to do the work for you (2 articles X 3 minutes) = 6 Minutes). I'm not a rocket scientist, but this math is pretty simple right?
Â
Anyway take a look around, there are number of article spinning tools out there on the market, some good, some not so good. Please reach out to me if you have any additional questions about article spinning.
