To become truly successful online, mastering internet marketing is a must - especially when you consider how much money there is to be made on the internet these days. Sorting out what marketing technique(s) work best can be a challenge - simply because there are so many ways to approach the subject.
This is my take on the subject.This answer is going to be good for some, bad for others. All I can say is that I believe it to be 100% true and critical for you to understand.
What Is The Best Internet Marketing Strategy?
I'll make this as direct as possible.
Finding the best internet marketing strategy is all about you. Whatever you can commit to doing on a consistent basis that you are seeing results from is the way to go.
I told you. Some of you weren't going to like my answer.
Here's what I've learned about internet marketing. It's almost like dieting. Every few months, there's a new best strategy or killer marketing technique.
Now, not all new strategies are bad - in fact it's a good idea to keep your eyes open and adapt to changes in the industry - but don't spend all your time chasing the newest tricks. Focus your efforts and get some results before moving on to master something new.
Compare marketing to dieting. If you were to start this great new diet where you couldn't eat any red meat, and then next week you started a diet where you had to eat lots of red meat, and then the week after, you couldn't eat any meat and so on...
Your body would be absolutely confused and you wouldn't really be making any long term changes. You may lose a pound or two here or there, but you wouldn't be able to keep bouncing around like this from diet to diet.
Instead of jumping from option to option, barely making any real progress, you'd need to choose some fundamental changes in your life and stick with them until they started bringing results. Every time you move on to something new you are effectively starting from scratch.
It's the same thing with internet marketing. It really doesn't make sense to hop from something like PPC to article marketing, then on to cold calling purchased leads, then switching over to article marketing again, only to then turn around and decide you'd rather focus on posting videos. Jumping around like that doesn't give any of those methods an opportunity to really work. Marketing has to grow, so don't short change yourself.
You may see a little bit in the way of results, but you will see huge results if you take consistent, massive action. In the end, there really isn't any one perfect technique out there. It all depends on who you are and how you work.
Just like we all have different dietary needs and desires, we all have varying comfort levels and passions for different marketing strategies.
The real strategy here is to find marketing technique that you are comfortable with and get really good at it. Implement it into your business on a consistent basis and you will see consistent results.
Depending on the internet marketing strategy you choose, it may take some time, but don't give up. Unfortunately, most people give up right before they could have been successful. Don't let that be you!
