What great services assisted living facilities provide. It is housing for senior living that is assisted by top nurses. As much as you hope you never have to live in an assisted living housing, you can be grateful we have assisted living services for the senior living. If your grandparent or even a parent gets to the point that your housing is not good enough for them, you can search different info on the facilities and find an assisted living community to best suit their needs.

For activities as youth we would do services and one was to go visit an assisted living housing community. Each senior has a different past and different people to care from them. It always made me sad to see a senior in the assisted living housing with no one ever to come visit them. How hard senior living would be to begin with but to not be able to care for yourself and have to be assisted with bathing, dressing, eating, walking, etc..

There are many assisted living communities in the area that I live. I know that a lot of students do their care there for the end of their CNA school programs. I've heard it's really hard to have to care for senior living in an assisted living housing. But someone has to do it. Even in the top assisted living facility, it's all the same thing. Some of the assisted living facilities have shared rooms and not enough people to care for your loved one. So make sure you look at all the info on each assisted living place you search and at their past credentials so you get the best care for your senior family member.

I hope that I don't ever have to live in an assisted living senior housing, but if I do, I sure hope the nurses take very good care of me. Always be kind to any senior you come in contact with. If in the past you haven't been nice please change and treat every senior with kindness and respect. You will be a senior one day and possibly living in an assisted living housing and have younger 'kids' taking care of you. Do you believe in Karma?

I find it very sad that families who have large homes and time and resources to care for their loved one in their own house but choose to put their parent in an assisted living housing program. Look back at your past, didn't that loved one take such good care of you? Return the favor, you'd want your kids to do that same for you in 50 years. Although a lot of assisted living programs are great, it's always better to be with family, you've known them for a very long time and love them dearly. Try to remember all of this when picking an assisted living place for your loved one to live. Thank you all so much!
