I have been doing some research over the past few months concerning network marketing and how to choose a great company versus just a good company. I would like to share with you what I have found, and why these findings make the hair on my arms stand up when talking about bHIP Global. There are 3 main findings that can lead you to make the right decision when considering a network marketing company. The first thing to consider is how long the company has been in business. Statistically, 90% of all new, network marketing companies are out of business in the first 18 months. So if you find one that has outlasted this statistic, chalk it up on the keeper list until you see the next determining factor. Secondly, the company must have a product that is unique and highly consumable. By this the company needs a product that only they sell, that you cannot purchase anywhere else, and ensure that is highly consumable, meaning that what is purchased will need to be purchased again in a short amount of time, usually within 30 days. The third and final factor to consider is if the company is offering a "ground floor opportunity". Let me define what is meant by ground floor. The distributor base should be no more that 1/2 of 1%. For the United States, who's population if approximately 300 million people, that would be 1.5 million representatives. Keep reading and you will see, yet again, why I am so excited about bHIP's opportunity.
Once the top 3 factors have been vetted, and you have found a company that meets or exceeds these criteria, you need to consider the four stages of growth of a network marketing company.
First is the FOUNDATION when the company is created, a product or products chosen and a marketing plan is created and usually last for 6 months.
Second is the concentration period, when an independent distributor network is created, trained and grown. This period typically lasts from 2 to 4 years.
Third is the MOMENTUM period which lasts 2 to 4 years also. This is when the company experiences phenomenal growth. Both retail and distributorship explode in terms of expanding growth. It is during this period that a company virtually sweeps across the nation.
When a company's sales reach $50 million annually, they reach what is called "critical mass", (sales go vertical right off the graph). Also, approximately 2/3 of the company's growth of new distributors occurs during this period. When "Herbalife" reached 50 million in retail sales, they jumped to 151 million in retail sales in only 12 months. They also added over 800,000 to their organization.
Let us assume you have an organization which is producing an override bonus check to you of $1,000 per month. When the company reaches "critical mass", distributors automatically experience a ten fold increase in their earnings. In other words, $1,000 per month becomes $10,000 per month. This is the reason for getting involved on the "ground floor" so you will experience the benefits of explosion growth.
The fourth and last stage is the STABILITY stage which will last for the life of the company.
