Jupiter, when in combination with the MC, gives great success within one's career along with potential opportunities to expand and move up in the world. This energy relates to heights, thus one could reach their career heights under this influence. People may move from one location to another, which denotes moving to a larger home and/or work or to another country. Usually there can be opportunities laid out by a grandparent and/or the inheriting the family business. People who do a lot of travel for business, especially to foreign lands, have this, and they seem to do well when in business with or for foreigners. There can be disconnection from the family as well as having the ability to mentally control one’s emotions, mainly because of being detached from one’s feelings. There can also be many projects and a sense of confusion surrounding loss of paper work. One may feel that there are many changes in friendships that affect their sense of stability. One may have to relate to unstable females in their life who are changeable, moody, and/or confused. The positive use of this energy would be to get away by oneself for a while and leave the family issues behind.
One has the ability to perceive on an advanced level as well as being spiritually inclined yet remaining grounded in the real world. There’s a lust or excitement for life with a need to become more spiritually aware, which can come through developing a practice that one sticks to, as in yoga and/or meditation. It represents boats, or water sports, thus denoting a person who likes to be active athletically around water equipment, like jet skis, etc. One of the pitfalls of this energy is its highly volatile sexual nature, without proper boundaries, thus it's important to be conscious of the fact that the rest of the world may not think the same way about sex.

The Sun / Node has the capacity to bring in people who are of a higher quality depending on the nature of ones Sun sign in their birth chart. It allows for following one's own destiny, which links one with others.
Problems associated with coworkers or working relationships are a manifestation of this. It can cause separations in the family and/or in work associations. Many times it manifests as the loss or separation from the father, or a person who is in the authority position in one’s life. There’s an ability to act as a spokesperson for others, to be more in a position of control over the family circumstances, or to act as the boss in the work environment. There can also be mourning our past and/or mourning over the loss of a family member with others.
