The Jeep Commander (2006 2007) was introduced in the year 2006. This is another jeep model of the Chrysler Group. It belongs to the mid size SUV class. Daimler Chrysler developed a V6 engine with Bluetec technology for the Commander of various markets including Europe, South Africa, South Korea and Chile. The market productions of this car begin in the year 2006. The various sites where this car is being assembled include Detroit, Michigan, Graz and Austria. It has an XK platform.

It has a body style of 4 doors SUV. Four different engine configurations are available for this car. They are 3.0L CRD V6, 3.7L Powertech V6, 4.7 L Powertech V6 and 5.6 Hemi V8. Complete engine specifications are available for the above engine configuration. The transmission of the Jeep Commander is 5 speeds automatic. The wheelbase of this car is 109.5 inches. The length of the car is 188.5 inches with a width of 75 inches. The height of this car is about 71.9 inches which forms a comfortable platform even for tall drivers. The curb weight of this car is 4391 lb. the varied colours and models of this car have increased the marketing scope of this car.

This car is available in various colours like Brilliant black crystal pearl, Stone white, Modern blue pearl, Bright silver metallic, Inferno crystal pearl. This car is popularly known as the Magnificent Seven Seater.
