Most people get into MLM being taught the old-school marketer or 2, they get told:
MLM Clue 1 - Build a list of your family, friends, and everyone else you know that has money
MLM Clue 2 - Contact and invite to meetings at your home
MLM Clue 3 - Grow list by meeting new people each and every day
Where do I begin by pointing out the defects in this strategy of finding Clue's?
1 - In my time as a MLM and network marketing coach I have seen people lose family and friends over people overselling their companies, and don't get me wrong it is good to have people in your area especially family or friends but once they say no the first time leave them alone this is an awesome MLM Clue to follow. Don't forget to look in the resource box at the end for more of my MLM Clues.
2 - The rejection part is always the hardest to take on board or on the chin as you would say, people never turn up and you think this is a waste of time and get disheartened. This is why it is a waste of your time doing things like this most of these people will not even be interested yet in your business.
3 - I have seen and heard some strange ways of people trying to get phone numbers of people in the street or shopping centers, people really will not let you have their number of the back of one conversation trust me on this. Let me know how it goes if you ever get real leverage from it.

MLM Clue 1 - Get yourself a website - personal branding is a massive MLM Clue
MLM Clue 2 - Create a sale funnel straight away - You can make money with a list and the saying says "the money is in the list"
MLM Clue 3 - Marketing - Yes, I said it, Marketing. If you want a big business, you need to market
MLM Clue 4 - Education - The MLM industry is constantly evolving. Between new products, marketing techniques, trainings, and companies, it is important to stay up to date. Remember my other tips will be in the resource box.
Why are these techniques so much more effective than the old school techniques?
By building your business this way, you accomplish a few key things.
1 - You stop wasting your time with people that really don't want to build a business
2 - People that are interested in your business will come to you... Yes, no more chasing them down.
3 - Drastic decrease in rejection. Remember, they are coming to you. They want what you have!
