Oil paintings are frequently depending on a person's likes and dislikes, or around the fact they need one with precise shades to accommodate their own interior decoration, and this is the oil painting plenty of people will buy.
Although some people might people, just like oil paintings in general and when they see a thing they love and the price is right, they may buy the oil painting. At times if they have it home or to the office, they don't know in which to put the painting, but since they had fallen fond of it they will even alter their furnishings to have it fit in and never look lost.
Other individuals have particular likes and dislikes, some individuals like scenery, some like homes or country homes, Van Gogh type paintings, women in old fashioned dress, or even paintings of children. Some of the scenery could be lakes and rivers, wildlife, farms or Museums or old homes and cottages. Yes, you will find there's style for everyone, and many times the designs are an indication of the persons's background, for instance a person who loves ballet, may want these types of paintings. Folks that like opera might like a painting of an auditorium in an opera house. With other people it's only colors and soft type images that is their choice. A Mexican person may want a Matador, A French person may want the something that defines their likes, it could even be a grape garden representing a French Wine. There is really so much to paint and so many artists that do a good job.
I have a sister-in-law who lives in Vancouver and enjoys to paint, she does scenery solely...she takes trips distant from her neighborhood and when she discovers something beautiful to her, she stays for hours and paints. Only to come back the following day until she has completed the work of art. She places them in Art Galleries and sells quite a few, even to Doctors and Dentists for their waiting rooms, they want something individuals will enjoy seeing when they're waiting for their appointments.
