The current economic situation has caused many people to look for extra income. There are several options but there is nothing more attractive than earning online income. And because of this, many took the opportunity to start their own venture – without knowing the right way. The situation was made worse by ‘online vultures’ who feed on the ignorance of these
newcomers.
And this madness has to stop.
If any newcomers like to begin an almost hands free automatic income easily, here are the steps which were deemed secrets some times ago but were made liberal by people who believe in fair competition:
First step – Find the Right Keywords
The economics of online income are heavily dictates by keywords. They are the commodities which determine the demand and supply. How else can you tell what people are seeking online?
But the trick here is to find the right keywords.
What constitute the right keywords?
The right keywords have high numbers of ‘demands’ i.e. searches and preferably low numbers of competition (supply) represented by page numbers in search engines result pages (SERP).
The thing that makes finding the right keywords trickier is the tools use to find them. The general perception is free tools are much inferior to the paid ones. Could this be true?
I can tell from experience that free tools are as good as the paid ones but the main difference is the paid tools can automate much nitty gritty analysis, and organize the results in more presentable, useful formats.
If you are just started out, free keywords tools probably suit your situation well but you have to put in extra efforts to organize the outcomes.
So that is the first step – finding the right keywords.
Second step – Create Relevant, Targeted Contents
This is where many newcomers stop dead in their track. Creating contents take a lot of energy and time consuming, what more if the contents need to be targeted and relevant. Some newcomers take the easy way out – buying private label rights materials, and use them as they are. They feel they have done a great job until they realize that 500 or more people are having the same materials in their hands!
And some of these people are not newcomers.
This is where the old age advice makes sense: start with something you are passionate about.
I concur with that. I can write hundreds of articles in a few weeks in topics I have interest and knowledge of. I hardly finish a handful of articles in a niche I know nothing of all year long.
So you have your keywords, and now you have created unique, optimized contents with them.
Third step – Build Your Virtual Real Estate
Your keywords and its content will have to be placed somewhere on the World Wide Web for your targeted audience to see. The most logical step to do this is to build your real estate virtually. That means having your domain online.
You have 2 options.
You can choose to build it free with available tools online like Blogger, Hubpages or Squidoo or you can buy a domain name, and paid for the hosting. It is your call. There are more advantages in term of control over making profits with your own domain but when you started out, the free options provide good training ground.
I have learned more about writing compelling titles and subheads from building Squidoo pages than any other optimization courses.
Fourth step – Choose Your Monetization Model
Popular choices for newcomers are affiliate marketing and Adsense. But for almost hands free income model, my personal takes is on Adsense – Google owned advertising program. You can choose other programs of course but make sure you choose the ones that require minimum upkeep.
Fifth step – Promote
I am not going to sugar coat my recommendation here. The method which cost almost nothing and relatively easy to maintain is through search engine optimization (SEO). But just like using free tools to get keywords, you have to put extra efforts upfront to get the desired outcomes.
It is downright dirty and torturing.
You must be prepared physically and mentally to go through all the process of finding keywords, creating unique contents, building websites or blogs, and promoting them to win the favor of search engines before you can see a single red cent. Many people are just going to give up without giving this hand free automatic income a chance to materialize.
