It will benefit the property owner if he/she can feel confident that the repair company understands the relationship between plumbing and foundation problems. It is particularly beneficial if the company has to tunnel underneath the foundation to repair or replace plumbing pipes. These companies understand the proper techniques to tunnel under a concrete slab and they understand the proper techniques to backfill the tunnel when the job is finished. If tunneling and backfilling are not done properly then the concrete foundation could suffer additional damage.
