Stay at home mothers who want to work from home, really ought to have a think about earning money online. If I imagine you reading this, I can hear you shouting at the computer I would, if only I knew how! . And in that phrase is the million dollar question, how do you earn money using the internet?
If you type something along the lines of earn money online into one of the search engines, you will get millions of responses. How do you know which are legitimate and which are not? The bottom line is that you just don t. There are many, many people offering you chances to make your first million in your sleep, or by the end of the week at the very latest! One thing I can tell you, right now, is that earning money online is NOT a get rich quick scheme. But it is possible...
One of the things that puts most of us off trying to earn money online, is a lack of technical expertise. If you are not confident in your understanding of the difference between SEO and keywords , between blogs and article marketing , how do you know where to start?
I would like to give you an insight into affiliate marketing. But what is it? I hear you say. Affiliate marketing, is the promotion of a product or products online. The product(s) is created by someone else and is usually an electronic product and is therefore downloadable by the purchaser. There are good profits to be made in affiliate marketing some products will earn you as much as 75 of the price. (I hear you asking why you would get the lion s share of the profit the product maker is getting 25 of LOTS of sales rather than 100 of a few.).
To affiliate market well takes time and lots of effort, but once you have a site set up properly, it should tick over, making you a few hundred dollars a month. When you have one set up, you set up a second etc. This will ultimately give you what is called a residual income, an income that quietly ticks over while you get busy bring up your children.
These are the steps you need to follow to be a successful affiliate marketer:
1. Find a product you want to promote
2. Set up a website with GOOD QUALITY content which is relevant to the product you want to promote
3. Drive traffic to that site
If you do this in the right way, you will find that you can create a site that ticks over for you and quietly brings you in a small income each month. Then, as the saying goes, rinse and repeat. There is no limit to the number of these sites you can have. I read somewhere of a man who s goal is to set up 500 sites, each earning him $10 a day. That would bring him in $182500 a year!
