Second is to make use of existing social networking sites. You will find backlinks on a variety of different subjects on social networks. This is a great way to get backlinks. You might consider it an inexpensive form of advertising.
You can also become an advertiser with social networks like Facebook and My Space. The fees charged by the sites for advertising are usually more affordable than the rates charged by other large websites, which the search engines tend to favor.
The third suggestion is the most difficult for some people, but you need to become an expert. Almost everyone is an expert about something. By finding your area of expertise and writing informative articles about that subject, you can create backlinks that will never be thought of as spam.
Lastly, you can search for relevant sites and send an email to the owner or webmaster. This may take some time, but you can create backlinks that may really help you for years to come.
