When I wanted a laptop case for myself, I just went down to the local electronics store. I had a choice of black or blue that would fit my laptop nicely. I was very happy with the blue and have been since. I didn’t even give it a second thought that there may be laptop totes for women. My wife has since corrected me.
Just like there are millions of different purse, the selection of laptop totes for women is endless. You won’t just find different colors, you will find different materials from nylon to high end leather. You can choose from single colors to patterns including some really wild leopard prints.
There is also more styles than I thought. There is the messenger style bag, you know like the old mail carriers use to have, just a strap and a flap. Some are just that a bag, others have straps inside to secure the laptop. The other style that seems to very popular is the backpack style laptop tote for women. These can be great for keeping your hands free and usually have extra room for accessories. Sometimes they can be a hassle to take off and on. They come in everything from backpacks that look like they are for a kid to some very nice leather backpack cases.
For business travel, there is a wide selection of wheeled laptop totes for women. Many of these are hard sided but will still fit in the overhead of an airplane. While these wheeled units may not make the same fashion statement that a leather messenger style bag can, they will protect your investment. If you want to make a statement, they do have some wild animal prints. Tarzan like.
It is important to know what size your laptop is before you set out on you quest for a laptop tote. While laptop totes for women can indeed be a nice compliment to your outfit, their real purpose is to get your laptop around unscathed. You will need to now what size it is 17” or 15” or whatever. If you are not sure, simply do a search on line for you computer brand and model number and you should be able to find it online Not only will your laptop be safer in the right size case, but you can carry around a smaller bag. Many cases are now being made for the smaller note book laptop computers also.
As for price, laptop cases run anywhere from $25 to hundreds of dollars for the higher end leather units. Some of the nicer leather bags are really nice looking pieces. Your laptop case will likely outlast the technology of your computer if you buy good quality. Again, while the look of the bag is important, you want to make sure it holds your laptop securely and will hold up well in your environment. There is a reason why you will find such a price difference when you are shopping for computer cases.
Now you may ask, where did I become an expert on computer cases for women? Well simple enough. I simply did a Google search on laptop totes for women while shopping for my wife. I couldn’t just grab the first one that came up, I think it was a NASCAR laptop case, no good!
