These are things that you will want to package first, label and set aside. Expensive jewelry and other smaller valuable items should be things that you should handle the transportation of yourself. Bigger, less obvious items such as furniture, rugs and appliances should be left in the care of the moving company, etc. If you are a super paranoid person, or if you just want to play it safe, it is sometimes advisable for you to take a video documentary of all your valued items just as your own form of insurance policy should things go missing.
