Finding a place to live can be a daunting task that can be extremely time consuming. You want to live in a place with a nice climate, good activities and entertainment, fairly priced real estate, and a good neighborhood. St. George creates an environment that fulfills all of these needs.

One of the best parts of the city is the great climate. The weather is warm for nearly the whole year.

This makes St. George a great place to take part in a variety of recreational activities. It also provides access to many outdoor experiences.

The city is located just 43 miles from the famous Zions National Park.

This national park is a natural wonder that provides visitors with incredible canyon walls and astounding cliffs.

Just a day's journey away, many find this park to be an adventure full of hiking, camping, and new discoveries.

St. George is known for its great golf courses. These golf courses offer a truly unique experience for those who play on them.

This tiny corner of the state is said to have the top ten best public golf courses in all of Utah. For golf lovers, it is the perfect place to live and work on improving that swing all year long.

There are many other opportunities for outdoor recreation in and around the city. Among these are opportunities to participate in water sports, hiking, camping, riding ATVs, rock climbing, swimming, and others.

Within easy driving distance are three lakes which are deep and big enough to have boating experiences, swimming, and fishing.

Near the city is an area called Sand Hollow. This area, in particular, is near some fun-packed sand dunes so you can have an extreme day of recreation.

Although most of the land is red rock in this beautiful city, there are the Pine Valley Mountains to the north which provides a different type of scenery.

Here you can camp, hike, fish, and even hunt through the wooded and green hills.

With a great year-round climate, St. George has been home to outdoor Broadway shows for many years. The Tuacahn Amphitheater is a well-known outdoor theater that brings to life these classic theater performances.

Millions of years ago the area was home to dinosaurs. The city now owns many imprints and fossils that were found in the city. Anyone can go and view the ancient imprints. The site has since been turned into a museum, called the St. George Discovery Site.

Runners can race in the annual St. George Marathon. This is a highly popular race that is known throughout the world by runners. The nice temperature and beautiful scenery makes it a great run.

The city has access to all of the entertainment and necessities of life. They have a new hospital, airport, many restaurants, shopping, and all of the other places you may need.

The city is also home to a new hospital and airline. Recently, in 2003, Intermountain Health Care opened a brand new $100 million hospital using the newest technology to make new facilities.

SkyWest Airlines maintains its headquarters in town with operations flying out all of the time. This enables fast access to St. George for those who visit the area.

The area is also fairly close access to Las Vegas and other fun places to visit. So you can take advantage of the proximity.

The economy is causing real estate to be more affordable in the city right now. This is due to the national economic down turn. Because of the lower cost of real estate purchasing a home in this area can be considered an investment.

This is because St. George has been one of the fastest growing cities in America. Because of this the area provides a fairly low risk and comfortable investment opportunity for those looking to buy real estate.

With the drop in real estate prices now is the perfect time to buy in so when the prices rise as an investor you can benefit from the increase.

St. George is a great place to live, which is why is growing so fast making it the perfect place to buy real estate. The market is growing right now the real estate is more affordable. Keep in mind, that the prices will go up again, it is just a matter of time.
