Clickbank is an online marketplace which joins affiliates with producers of electronic products. Clickbank only has electronic products. You can either be an affiliate or a product producer. In it’s time Clickbank has paid out nearly one and half billion to it’s clients. Clickbank has more than one hundred thousand active affiliates. Clickbank itself, processes the payments and gets a commission from that. They also provide the reports and the tracking for the hop links, which can be created on the hop ad builder in your Clickbank account.
Clickbank affiliate:
You can promote Clickbank products on your website or blog. When you are an affiliate you benefit from high commissions they are often up to seventy five percent of the sale after Clickbank takes seven percent of the sale for processing the transaction. Another great advantage of being an affiliate is that the products on Clickbank are available worldwide instantly with no shipping fees because all the products are electronic such as eBooks or subscriptions. This is crucial now because increasing numbers of visitors are coming from the East especially India. When you are choosing what products to promote you need to look at the products gravity, the percentage earned per sale, the dollar value of each sale and the pitch page to decide whether the product will sell well and whether you want to be affiliated with the product. I highly recommend you buy the product before you promote it.
Sell your products on Clickbank:
First of all you need to have a product. This could be an eBook or a subscription to a video series or email series. Then you need to create a pitch page. The pitch page should not make too many outrageous claims about your product but it should be good at selling the product. If possible it should be a page on its own and have no links away from the page, this will increase the number of affiliates willing to promote the product. The pitch page should be long enough to sell the product and should include reviews from other sales and also a video from you or a happy customer of the product. The greater the price then more information should be available. Every now and then you should have a payment link which is provided by Clickbank. You then need to create a hop link in your account this is made with your account name and also the product number which is normally 1 for your first product. You then need to pay the $49.95 fee to Clickbank. Your product should be live on Clickbank marketplace within five days after your product is reviewed and you make any amendments that are required. These amendments are common and often include adding disclaimers and contact information to the page. You then need to create a thank you page with the information required. Here is a list of things you need on the thank you and pitch page:
Pitch page:
a.A detailed description of the product.
b.The cost of the product.
c.For recurring billing products, be sure to clearly state all the details of the rebill schedule, including the number of times a customer is billed, and how frequently they will be billed. For example, you should say, “Your initial charge will be $19.95. You will then be charged $9.95 per month for the next 11 months.”
d.The file format of your product, as well as any particular software or operating system required to use it (e.g., Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, etc.).
e.If your product is only useful to customers in a particular geographic region or country, be sure to say so.
f.How the product will be delivered (e.g., direct download, via email, etc.).
g.How long delivery will take (e.g., immediate, 5 minutes, etc.).
h.For recurring billing products, explain how the product will be delivered, and how often. For example, if you sold a monthly newsletter, you could say that it will be delivered by email on the 1st of each month.
i.Customers must be able to reach you if they have a question about your product prior to purchase. Please include an email address, a link to your email address, or a contact us link on your Pitch Page.
Thank you page:
a.A valid, clearly displayed email address where customers can reach you if they require technical support for your product, as ClickBank does not provide technical support.
b.A reminder to the customer that his or her credit card or bank statement will show a charge by ClickBank or CLKBANK*COM, rather than a reference to your specific product. This reminder should be prominent, as customers sometimes request refunds because they forget that ClickBank is handling the purchase.
c.For a recurring billing product, a restatement of the rebill schedule.
d.Clear instructions on how to download or access the product, or information on how and when it will be delivered to them.
