To be able to run your car on water must be the most incredible thing that a person do. Can you imagine driving a car without refueling, or without spending for fossil fuel? It is actually the dream of everybody. However, this idea has been stalled for several reasons.

With the expensive price of gasoline, efforts to find ways to run your car on water truly multiplied during the past decade. More and more people are supporting the idea. There were even demonstrations held in support of this. However, this project did not really take off. It was put on the sideline as if no one was paying attention. Blame it on the big oil companies who tried all possible ways to block the development of this invention. These oil companies are afraid that they might lose big money if this project prospers.

Initially you may question the soundness of the idea. Water does not posses any chemical potential energy that can be burned. In fact, water is neutral and it is even used to put off fire. Water itself does not burn. It basically violates the law of conservation of energy which states that energy cannot be created nor destroyed it can only be transformed from one form to another. And since water is not a source of energy, it cannot be used to transform mechanical energy.

It is true that water in its present state will not be able to do the trick since it is not a source of energy. However, if you are able to break the water components in hydrogen and oxygen, combustion will then be possible. Take note that there are two hydrogen molecules and one oxygen molecule in a molecule of water. These two elements are highly combustible. The hydrogen and oxygen gases are then burned in the engine instead of gasoline.

The challenge however is in converting tap water into hydrogen and oxygen. You may need to have your car reconditioned or reformatted to accommodate the new system. In breaking the water molecules you need to perform electrolysis. This is done by passing electricity through water. The hydrogen and oxygen molecules are isolated and collected. The collected hydrogen goes to the engine to be burned. The oxygen molecules go to the exhaust pipe to be released to the environment.

Trying to run your car on water is actually a very good alternative to lessen the burning of fossil fuel. It is safe for everyone. It does not produce any carbon dioxide. In fact, the exhaust is pure oxygen. Oxygen is an essential element for man and animals to live.

Run your car on water now and help the preserve the Earth.
