When you look at a a satellite view using Google Earth or similar applications or websites then you know how stunning they look. I always remember looking at my own house as viewed by a satellite in orbit. It was amazing. The screen started out looking at our amazing planet earth, then i typed in my zip or postcode and the planet turned to our country. Then it looked closer and further until we could view the roof of my home. you can even see the neighbours trampoline in the backyard, woods, landmarks, nature reserves etc. It was amazing stuff.
Something amazing about viewing satellite images is that you get to see real photographs from anywhere in the world, Death Valley, The Coloseum, holes formed when dinosaurs roamed the earth, you name it. Another thing you can do once you have found your sight is that you can tilt and revolve the satellite view giving a more 3D or birds eye view on the terrain. Some people have said to me if the pictures are in real time and if you run around outside your house will you see yourself? The answer is no, we would need a lot of satellites out in orbit if this could happen.
The only problem you may have is that your computer might not be powerful enough to run the software or show the 3D images. But if your pc can run it you have lots of options to research
