Whether it is an industrial trade show, travel, bridal, boat, gun or recreational vehicles show prospective clients and businesses come together with the intent to conduct business. The unique aspect of trade shows is that all traffic is targeted specific to your industry. People wanting to buy boats, attend boat trade shows, prospective clients wanting gems would go to the gem show. The same holds true for industrial, manufacturing and business trade shows.
We recently had a daughter get married, the single most helpful resource available to us was the bridal shows we attended. Florist, photographers, caterers, venues, dresses, manicures, jewelries were all present and able to answer questions and give us estimates on prices and options.
It was a fun day complete with fashion shows, samples, vendors, mini-massages and most of all, ideas. It was so easy to compare prices, options and availability of different vendors. What set one vendor apart from another was their set up and presentation at the trade show. Bright, colorful Entrasi display systems enhanced the vendor's traffic and viability. There really was a difference in setup and displays. Entrasi displays are stretch fabrics, taunt across aluminum frames for lightweight carrying. It was fun to talk to the different vendors about their set up as well as their product. I have always had a thing about trade show displays.
Another trade show we visited this year was a travel show. Again, we went with the intent to purchase a cruise, and it was wonderful to have all the travel companies present with their best deals. A perfect way to plan a get-a-way for after the crazy wedding. There were so many options and helpful people to give us all the information we needed to make our decision. The trip went without a hitch and we were so happy for the information we were given. Again, colorful, enticingly displayed booths received the most traffic.
My experiences aren't exactly industrial trade shows, but the system works the same. If you were looking for a lift crane you would visit a heavy equipment trade show. Businesses and prospective clients coming together for a win-win for everyone.
