1) Most significantly, is the idea a con? Look for the company name and find out what other people say about it. If it is a new and unheard of plan it could be valid, but it equally well might not be. If they just ask you to sign up and join in then you can maybe do so safely, but just beware of what information you are divuldging and be wary of installing any software. It may well be something more than you bargained for?
2) Does it ask you for money? I have to say at this point that one respectable affiliate directory that I know about that has a lot of brilliant merchants does oblige new signups to forfeit a small amount.
I understand it is there way of preventing spammers signing up. But on the whole, unless I knew of the format already, I would be indisposed to part with any money to join in with any home working system. Quite often the plan is as effortless as now you have paid me the cash, you write to people saying you can recommend them a job in return for paying you. Not likely to work for anyone who is truthful.
3) Does the plan interest you? It can be very well signing up for surveys, but if you are not fascinated in seeing lots of seemingly pointless questions and ticking little boxes, then you probably will not last out. If you are signing up to trade mobiles, do you have one yourself? Can you talk about them and stay interested in them?
If the home working format does not interest you then you are doubtful to continue it for long enough to collect any real rewards. In the early days I signed up for surveys, found them uninteresting and only got paid for one system. But other systems do catch my curiosity and I work hard on them.
4) Are you technically minded enough? If you are getting interested in affiliate selling or hanker after a go at blogging, but want to host your own blog for maximum earnings, are you technically skilled enough to be able to find out how to download, install and look after everything? Downloading WordPress is straightforward and the installing a dodle. But it is straightforward to get lost customising the theme. It can be huge fun if you have the experience, but a immense quandary if you are in fact a technophobe.
5) Is it truly for you, are you doing it for the right motives? If you are panicking about paying loans off and struggling to pay the debts and suppose home working is the answer, possibly you should think again. Your time might be better used up talking to the bank and a financial advisor.
But if you are working because it seems fun, then continuing the labor at odd hours of the day to keep it ticking over will be exciting and you should do well.
