I mentioned in my last article that I wanted to have a wedding in a beach where we can see the sunset while we exchange our vows. At the same time, I want my wedding photos to be perfect and memorable so that we would be able to cherish it for a lifetime. Good thing I already found the place and the photographers for my future wedding. Thanks to my friend who just got married last month in that place. The place I am talking about here is called “Punta Cana” which is in the easternmost province of the Dominican Republic. I googled this place and was able to find some information about the place which gave me a reason why I should get married there.
I saw this magazine which has a question in their front page that asks, “Why do people plan weddings in Punta Cana?” Aside from the photos that I saw from my friend who had his wedding in Punta Cana, I wanted to know what does Punta Cana have other than the beautiful beaches? It only took this line in their magazine to convince me to get married their, “Imagine a Punta Cana wedding, spending a few days in paradise with your closest group of friends and saying “I do” with the Caribbean as your backdrop.” Just the perfect wedding I am looking for.
My sister’s wedding was a conventional type which they really spent a lot of money. They paid for the church, the place for the reception, the dinner, and the entertainment which was a wedding band. Good thing though that her husband and his family was rich enough to help my sister with the expenses but what about me? I don’t have that kind of luxury. Good thing that the weddings in Punta Cana have the potential to create a much more memorable experience and possibly save me more money. Come to think of it, it would be a beach wedding so you save some money for paying the church. Another one that you might consider is the fact that it also creates a little mini-vacation for you and all of your guests as well.
