All over the internet, one will find many websites heralding the arrival of many Resveratrol based products. Upon skimming through a couple of them, I noticed something strange – every website is offering an insight into the positive aspects of the products. Although there are websites that illustrate the harmful effects of the chemical, the other websites are gaining better page ranks on search engine listing. In effect, everyone will start thinking that the chemical is a miracle drug with no harmful effects whatsoever! Well, I strongly disagree with such thoughts – allow me to pen down certain aspects regarding Resveratrol.

The chemical is known to be present in large quantities on red wine (specifically red grapes, from which red wine is manufactured). The same chemical is sparsely present on peanuts (roasted peanuts contain a high dose of Resveratrol). Plants – in response to pathogenic attacks, naturally synthesize the chemical. In simpler terms, the chemical can protect the plant from the attacks of external agents. The same concept is realized on the human body, likewise. The antiseptic and antibacterial properties of the chemical are widely attributed to the inherent nature that is preprogrammed into the chemical.

Let us study the advantages of Resveratrol. Consuming red wine in moderate quantities will reduce the viscosity of the blood. The easiness with which blood is being pumped into the different parts of the body will be augmented. In effect, the transportation of nutrients (and waste materials) back and forth the cells will be increased. The same chemical can lower the sugar levels present in the blood. Diabetic patients will like this property. They no longer need to invest upon expensive medications that will do the same chore. The immunity system of the body will be fortified, thus making the body highly immune to infectious diseases.

Resveratrol must be taken in an appropriate dosage. The usual recommended levels are three to five grams daily. Keep in mind that the chemical is very effective when taken in minute quantities. If you think that higher dosages will impart additional strengths, then you are simply thinking it wrong. The side effects or after effects of Resveratrol are displayed in a pronounced manner on the human body. High rates of metabolism will deplete the energy resources present within the body. This will induce a sensation of weakness to the person. Fatigue is the apt term that must be used in here.

Constipation is another side effect that is associated with Resveratrol. Do you know that consuming Resveratrol will lead to highly lethal situations? The over thinning of the blood will be fatal. People will lose considerable amounts of blood and the blood will not be able to clot in an appropriate manner. A small cut or an injury is more than ample for the person to bleed out and die. People who get into accidents while driving (after a heavy bout of drinking sessions) are known to die due to the same cause. Remember three to five grams of Resveratrol is more than adequate for the human body.
