Of all the many cities in the world that travelers long to visit, Cairo often heads up the top ten of the most dreamed about travel destinations. There are loads of Cairo deals avaolable that travelers may take advantage of to turn that dream into a reality.

The night-life ranks right up there with the quality of New York, London, and Tokyo; but with a very sophisticated Egyptian flavour, also, the girls are absolutely beautiful. Actually called Al-Qahirah (you can see where "Cairo has evolved), this is the administrative centre of Egypt. But we are not interested in business, we are interested in Great Pyramids of Giza, Christian Churches, ancient Mosques, the Museum of Antiquities, the City of the Dead, the street markets and of course the Heliopolis, all of which border on the outskirts of Cairo.

Virtually every monument you would wish to se is situated close to the edge of Cairo, it is a city of the most fantastic ancient and modern culture. It is also one of the largest and liveliest cities in the world so accommodation in hotels is designed to impress. Of course it all depends on the travelers budget, not everyone can stretch to the budget of the Fours Seasons or Marriot, but no matter what your budget, you will be comfortably accommodated.

The world famous "Khan El Khalili" souk (bazaar), which is pretty much still the same as it was in the fourteenth century is a shopping experience like none other. It's situated right in the centre of Cairo and is very accessible and more than welcomes tourists as it's primary trade.

The bazaars of Cairo are become compulsive to visit, there are so many and they all cater for very different markets. For example if you wanted to find the very best in Egyptian cotton you would not go looking in Khan El Khalili, you would search through Wekala al-Balaq.

The camel market is a good sight seeing exercise too, although I wouldn't suggest you buy a camel. It is just that this market has sold camels for the past 1000 years, and time has stood still here.
