When I was a kid, I hoped that I would be among the fortunate ones who did not have a very hairy back as I got older. However for myself, that was not true, and while I do not really look like Magilla Gorilla, my back is unquestionably not smooth — or at least, it was not smooth.

I decided a few years ago to invest in laser treatment for hair removal, and I have never regretted the funds that I spent at all. I needed to go in for six treatments, and that cost me over $1,000 when all was said and done, nevertheless I can honestly state that having that done as well as the peace of mind that goes along with it has been well worth every penny I put in.

I'd by no means actually minded possessing back hair when I became older. It is sort of interesting just how your priorities change when you become an adult. When I was young, I figured I would be simply devastated, that no woman would ever want me and therefore I'd end up dying by myself if I had back hair, and as I came to find out, it does not matter in many instances.

On the other hand, it does become a bit of an problem if you wish to go to a swimming pool, or the beach. That is when I first actually began to consider laser hair removal, when I began to think about all of the activities that I might have desired to do with my shirt off, but thought too self aware to do so.

For example, where I live, it gets really hot in the summer months, and I spend lots of time working in the backyard. I'd personally love sometimes to take off my shirt to help keep cooler, however with a hairy back, I was concerned that people would stare at me or laugh, so i never was willing to do this.

I'd see acquaintances in their swimming pools or out there playing catch with their shirts off, and I really felt a lttle bit envious that I could not do that and feel at ease doing this.

The good news is, I have a buddy who worked at a medical center that did laser hair removal and decided to go through with it. Following the initial treatment, the hair on my back ended up being considerably less than it used to be, and by the 2nd or 3rd treatment, it was barely noticeable whatsoever.

I thought about stopping the treatment then, nevertheless she suggested that I go on and have the rest of it taken out too, so I did, and it ended up being one of the best decisions I've ever made. My back has become as smooth as silk, and I can really feel confident heading outdoors without shirt.

Laser hair removal was not painful like waxing could be, and I did not need to employ any type of stinky chemical product, either. It really worked out nicely for me all the way around, and I have never looked back on paying the funds with any regret.
