Having recently purchased a new property I have been on the lookout to get hold of a a small number of lovely pieces to furnish it with. I like the look and feel of antique furniture but it can be exceedingly hard to come across just what you are looking for and the prices can be excessive. In terms of the choice and pricing it made much more sense to look at reproduction pieces but I didn't want to compromise too much on the quality.

The quality of all the pieces they have on display really looks superb and fully justified our decision to go the reproduction route. To be honest I think you would have to be quite the expert to even tell the reproduction items from the originals. They don't just look 'old' - the way the French polishers have carefully added distress to the pieces is simply amazing. The hue and sheen of the wood really does make it look like some family heirloom that has obtained its character from years of love and use!
The care and attention to detail that goes into all their ranges is what makes the difference in my humble opinion. They choose the best cuts of wood to show off the grain and texture and the construction and finishing process is carefully aimed at producing a piece of reproduction furniture that is as close as possible to the original item made centuries ago.
There are a lot of high quality images of the various pieces from each range on the site and tons of detail and info about the particular choices of wood, veneer and finish for each. There is even a YouTube video available where you can see them yourself in detail and learn more about the alternatives and finishing processes involved.
