You are probably one of those people that believe that you just don't have the time to get your online business up and running? You're not alone. Many clients that I talk to in Ohio where I live ,allege they have too much to accomplish and not enough time to execute and manage their internet opportunity. They wind up defeating themselves and their small business looses momentum and collapses. Many of my clients are still probing for time-honored jobs in Columbus or , part-time jobs in Cleveland but I repeat them that their second job is still at home and sitting on their desktop--ther computer. Or in many cases their kids' computer is the second job , simply spending all their free time searching the net reading how-to articles about how to make residual income. Full time jobs, family obligations, maintaining health and too many other distractions are the main explanations for not building momentum for their business. Until the big Google or Clickbank checks start rolling in, there is very little motivation for inexperienced internet entrepreneurs to latch onto any proficient work regime that will build their enterprise into a highly profitable income replacer. You must place your internet entrepreneurship above all other liesurely pursuits and free-time hobbies, mainly during the first year which demands your focused attention. It sounds selfish, but you will have to move a mountain to justify to your family or spouse why you need to wake up early one additional hour or go to bed later, or sacrifice sunday afternoons in order to read & watch tutorials and design your website(s). It will take a hefty amount of time to achieve online victory, so don't become anxious with mediocre results.. Although creating a website can be done in one or two days, checking the search engine information and site maitenance is a day by day requirement that demands dedication. And I didn't say "successful" I said profitable, because you need to concentrate on turning a revenue then focus on maximizing the profit. Take baby-steps then you can begin to stride and eventually run loose with all your commission checks immediately to the bank. I have some good news! You can find and maximize time to build momentum for your home business. All you need is to find time and commit to use that time for your home business only. Try the following strategies to make your home based business flourish. You need your own private corner, computer work-station. An attic room, or basement room or simply just a place in your house or apartment where you can declare your desk space and work-station.. I prefer to work in the basment where no one, and no phone calls can reach me when I am behind the computer, i highly urge this area of the house. This is what I prefer, once again you must decide for yourself what is comfortable for inspiration and focus. I suggest you buy two desks and arrange them into a "L" shape layout. The two desk system as you will quickly discover is very effecient. Maybe it is within your budget, and I know the recession is still impacting a lot of us, but having two computers for your workstation is also beneficial. I call my work-station in the basement, "The Bunker". Document the start and end time on events like getting ready for work, driving your kids to school, your commute to your day job, gym time and any other weekly commitments you have. Don't forget to include weekends and family time (this is most important). Once you have documented your work sessions for a month, you will have of idea of how efficient or inefficient you are and where to improve. You should see openings in your week. Make your goal easy: try to find two hours you can commit to spend on your business. You should be able to re-prioritize some time.
Stay with the Schedule You Created and Re-Evaluate: The next thing you need to do is stick with your schedule. This can be tough because you are creating a new habit. After many years of corporate life, I do highly recommend waking up the same time that you usually rise for your previous traditional job. Thus it "feels" like you are starting your regular routine BUT with modifications; you don't have to russh through breakfast--what was once a bowl of cereal or bagel, now you can have a real breakfast an omlete with Jimmy Dean Sausage links and 2 bagels!--. I like morning productivity, when my mind is awake, mid-afternnon I am useless, lazy and it is nap time in front of CNN. But when you get the rythm of your new routine, you should always re-evaluate your work character and schedule; are you a morning person or evening? You may be able to find more time to spend on your home business than you had originally concluded.Quite simply, you need to commit to being commited--makes sense? This means that you have to find a way after work, after little league games, after dinner and after putting the kids to bed.Once again, I emphasize that even though you are commited to your online business, do not neglect your family. I have young children so I try to focus on the business when my kids are in bed. I find that using the evening hours is best for me to spend on my home business. Late night just like early morning both seem to be very quiet work-station times. Your family will respect your entrepreneurship and work-station quiet-time if you value their needs for affection and face-time, be there for them and they will be there for you during your success and failures. If you have to use your family time to spend on your business, make sure you communicate with your family so they have an expectation of what you are doing. By establishing a work session time limit, your family can rest assured that at some point you will be accessible again. This will provide balance for you.
Be Flexible With Distractions:As we all know life also throws us off schedule. Contain your ego, and place your family first always..
