When it comes to animal portraits the range for one artist includes subjects alligators to parakeets to a prized black angus and this has been growing into a booming and highly specialized art business. There was a well known recording artist not to mention television actor singer who requested for a painting of his horse. There was another job for him involving a portrait of a prized black angus. Aside from having subjects that rarely kick he considers it to be better than painting people portraits.
In a big university in Santa Clara there is a new director of the gallery and museum and in San Jose she was the former director of a big museum and she took on the job after a reverend died early last month. What she was is a renowned artist and she exhibited at the palace of the legion of honor locally as well as through the nation.
It is at a gallery in San Francisco where a local sculptor will be exhibiting his work. The gallery will exhibit thirty of his works ranging from neo classical to highly abstracted forms. He is a highly talented artist who is also a writer and photographer apart from conducting a ballet school. In the movie called spectre of a rose is where he starred. Coming from a private collection will be more than 200 objects, sculptures, paintings, prints, and books that will be displayed in a famous museum.
Covering 50 years is the collection of one couple from Pennsylvania. It is a collection of scores of other historic greats and the works of a dozen famous painters. When he was still a student of Harvard the husband began to collect books but he was able to expand his collection to include many of the more valuable objects which he buys on installment.
