I've spent much of the past six months traveling for the only purpose of meeting and connecting with solo professionals everywhere the U.S. (and a few overseas, likewise). Here's what I grasp right now.
We tend to are the strength of economic recovery. We tend to are out there meeting, making, and serving others in new, creative ways. Our energy and enthusiasm are of tremendous price to the world.
We are collaborative. The new model of wildly successful business is collaborative, not competitive. Sit around a table with other solo professionals and inevitably concepts flow faster than the wine. We get it that there's goodness and profit in pooling our experience together in new ways.
We are exhausting staff, however we have a tendency to love our recuperation time, too. We tend to understand that entrepreneurs work and play at a distinction pace, and that our down time is actually the incubation time for new ventures.
We will do business anytime, anywhere (so long as we tend to have electricity or a smart battery, ha!). We have a tendency to offer service and value approach outside of the "8 to five" and it advantages our customers and ourselves.
We are positive thinkers. We tend to flip whines into introspection and then into action. We have a tendency to do not wallow in excuses. We tend to love to make and create things happen. We have a tendency to assume out of the box and encourage others to do so, too.
We have a tendency to thrive in community. We NEED to be with different entrepreneurs from time to time.
Many folks are terribly successful within the eight-to-five world while we have a tendency to never match the structure very well. We have a tendency to are expert at bring the skills we have a tendency to honed in that surroundings out into our a lot of flexible work house, and pairing those skills with the nimbleness of less bureaucracy.
We have a tendency to assume globally. The entrepreneur nation is essentially without borders.
For the foremost part, we tend to are helpful. We can connect with somebody we tend to've never met by e-mail and end up answering questions for every other. Connections are quick. We tend to look to our networked world for fast queries and answers, especially in technology.
The creation of virtual communities among entrepreneurs not solely fosters new business, but offers those folks who work in this approach an area to find like people. The Web is our break area, our water cooler, our common low pot. If the traits listed here work you, and the 8-to-five world does not, then welcome aboard. Boost up and out, and you may notice your niche.
