Landmark Education- for Self Development and Self Discovery
Landmark education is an enterprise which provides programs for development and self-Improvement education for a large number and a vivid variety of people. Established in 1991 by three psychologists it now has grown leaps and bounds and boasts off a faculty of around 760 teachers and offices in more than 110 big and small cities, which are operated in major offices in 56 cities while the big headquarters in San Francisco.
Now what does landmark education, this mammoth educational institution does actually? Well there are 4 different programs that are offered by the enterprise which are almost complimentary to each other. The program that should be taken and which provides the basic education is “the landmark forum”. This program is meant to make the necessary changes in your attitude towards life. It aims at making the students comfortable with the situation he/she finds himself/herself in instead of running away or making lame decisions without being harsh on oneself.
The second step towards education is “the landmark forum in action”. This is a follow up to the landmark education forum. The course is divided into 10 seminars which are generally evening sessions and are spread over a span of around 3 months. The course aims at helping people find ways to turn their thoughts into action and how they can make the best of opportunities that come their ways.
The third course is “the landmark advanced course” which says that the past is done and what one needs is to focus on the future. One has to keep an open mind to grasp the opportunities and not let them slip away. The course aims at conditioning the individual to think in these terms and to make the most out of the situations.
The fourth option to choose is “the landmark self-expression and leadership program”. This program aims at giving the shy student a chance to open up and be confident. More than 50% of all students are afflicted by the issue of not being able to properly say or express what they are feeling. And so this course helps them find their inner voices.
The above mentioned landmark education courses can be taken up as a whole or they can be done in parts as individual courses depending on the situation of the student concerned. But it is always recommended that the entire course is done in one go. The program is available 3 days a week which start at 9 am in the morning and are till 10pm in the night. The classes are designed as vacation time classes where people actually can solely concentrate on the topics discussed through the day.
