It’s all too simple in life to slither into pessimistic attitudes and start assuming things will not work out. This is understandable as life, your career, financial hassles and friends can grind you down. But you could take some fairly undemanding actions to find again the positive attitudes of your younger years.

Don't Wake Up In A Bad Mood

Aim to be cheerful when you wake up. Your day starts off better and often helps your day move in the right way. Science has shown that smiling boosts the brain neurotransmitters responsible for making you cheerful.

Plan Your Time

There is little more irritating than a horrific day. Little goes smoothly, your short term memory implodes or find yourself producing some things more than once. Do a body swerve round this by writing down your goals for the day in the morning. It could include things you intend to complete. Even if it is as simple as doing going to the shops and tidying up, if you write it down in the am and can tick it off in the evening you'll be aware of a great impression of achievement.|A bad day seldom seems to improve. Hassles turn up, things are forgotten and work can easily be duplicated. Without a plan this is tricky to counter so use 5 minutes first thing jotting down a plan of action. Don't be distracted

Make your aims in the morning and focus on the essential things. Sometimes it may help for you to create an images or images in your mind actually carrying it out and succeeding. Such as exercising or passing an exam. None of us need to visualize doing the washing! Don't lose sight of the importance of fun and relaxation in your daily activities. Combining them both will give you the best chance of succeeding each day.

Have A Sense Of Proportion

Events often conspire to stop you achieving what you want to do each day. You can only control yourself, other people and events are often beyond your reach. Recognise this fact and don't sweat it. Avoid the negative emotions such as frustration or irritation as they usually don't move you any further forward.
Using your goals as an inspiration you'll achieve far more on a bad day than you ever would without one.

Have An Open MInd

You need to have new experience and challenges in your life. It is so tempting to fall into a routine and avoid trying new things. Whether it's food, work, television, music, languages or holidays try to vary things and try, taste or do new things.

As the years pass you need to make more effort to maintain a positive attitude. But anyone can do it.
