Many people who have gone through a recent breakup wonder can a rebound relationship feel like love? It's a good question to ask and one that you will probably explore in the next serious or semi serious relationship after a breakup. Whether it is your relationship that you are wondering about feeling like love or the relationship of your ex the answer is not as simple as a yes or no answer.

The obvious answer is yes. It would have to feel like love in order to convince so many people. The emotions feel every bit as real and are, for all intents and purposes, as real as any other relationship. It isn't the intensity of the emotions that is the question in rebound relationships but the readiness of the heart to actually move ahead is another thing entirely. Unfortunately the message doesn't always get through when it is convenient. Occasionally it takes a little time to sink in. This is when rebound relationships generally end and the people involve figure out what was going on.

The scary part is that people often misconstrue the next relationship after the breakup. The worse, it is always predicted to fail. So if you decide to be in a real relationship after a breakup, analyze your feelings well for this person and how far you would want to be in the relationship.

Is there a specified time given before going into a new relationship after the breakup?

People who are slow healers need longer time to heal before getting into a new relationship, and those who can recover in a short span of time can be in love again. But be reminded that taking it slow this time is better than being in haste.

Be aware that rebound relationship are just like other love relationship. The only difference is that people question it for being the next one after a breakup. Be open and ready to face the feeling - that's all that matters.

So, is there a difference between a rebound relationship and true love?

Can't be but it's a must. If you know deep within you that you are no longer guarded by the fear to get hurt in love again, then go ahead. There's nothing to fear. Love is always a great feeling that someone who longs to be loved needs.
