SPA Frantiskovy Lazne was established in 1793. Due to its neoclassical spa buildings and pavilions Frantiskovy Lazne (Franzienbad) preserved the irreplaceable atmosphere of the early 20th century &. The town is regarded as one of the most charming spa town in the country.

The most considerable are the Glauber's springs number I, II, III and IV. The very last one wells up from the depth of 93 meters underground and has the highest content of Glauber salt in the world.
The mineral waters from the Glauber's springs are strong laxatives. On the other hand the water from the Church Spring is used for curing mild digestive health problems. Water saturated the most with fe can be found in the Ferrous Spring. It is used for healing weariness, overtiredness & anemia.
